Directions: Light the end of the smudge stick and after it has caught fire, blow it out. You may need to relight it a few times throughout your process. Smoke areas of your space including corners of rooms and entrances. Keep windows open while smudging to let air AND energy flow. Use a plate or abalone shell to catch ash and hold smudge stick while it's still burning.

This is extremely important so ensure we are not harming endangered populations and to respect Indigenous cultures that hold it sacred.  Mass commercial harvesting results in harming ecosystems and making it scarce for Indigenous communities.
